| Surfing has been my life since I was ten years old. I learned to surf on an 8'6" Australian made 'Keyo" Mal, which was borrowed from a friend between his surfs.
At the age of fifteen I made my first board. 1973 saw my first overseas surf trip to Morocco. Three months after my return I packed my bags and moved down to North Devon. |

| 32 years of board building has witnessed many 'eras' of surfboard styles. Many good designs have evolved during that time, most of which I have made, and some that I have helped to improve.
Essential knowledge for todays surfers who want to feel what the "odl"designs were like. Today they are better than the originals. I opened the factory here in Knowle, Braunton in 1986. My love of making surfboards ensures I do not mass produce. A years production totals approximatley 120 boards. I use only the best materials available, and evry stage of construction is personally hand crafted. Each board is a functional, truely superb piece of master craftsmanship and design.
